We have not sung together for a year and are keen to start up again when government restrictions allow. The choir have been singing four part harmony for over 70 years and want to carry on for at least another 70!
When all communal singing had to stop in March last year because of the pandemic, there was much sadness as we all missed coming together to sing.
As one choir member put it: “ Singing together is such an enjoyable experience, good for the body, mind and soul with the added bonus of fun and friendship, but there is also the discipline of working together to perform a concert”
But the choir cannot work together without a new conductor to take us further in our four part harmony with the hope we will be able to perform concerts again in East Lothian.
So, if there are any conductors looking for a small group of friendly singers , please contact :
- Still no practices
- We are going to sing!
