Practising the St John Passion
We got on well at our first practice of the new term and everyone looks pretty happy. New members are very welcome (Is there a choir anywhere which isn’t on the lookout for new members, especially for tenors!) Come and join us.
There are a number of websites which have rehearsal tracks to help us including John Fletcher (my favourite), Choraline (good but expensive), Cyberbass (not just for the Basses), Choralia and LearnChoralMusic.
I like what John Fletcher has put together as the sound is clear and you can follow the score on screen. It is worth registering and this piece is free (donations welcome).
